The UUT Danum of the Upper West Kalimantan Melawai nyolat celebrate, party of second funeral. This ceremony is intended to permanently separate the living from the dead. The nyolat is celebrated here in the village of Kepingoi. The rituals of the funeral feast in which all the villagers and guests from neighboring villages, are divided between dances, prayers and sacrifices. The most precious of UUT Danum is the jar, the image of prosperity of the family. It is deposited on the cage containing the pigs receiving the sacrifice and offerings of food. The liver of pigs is discussed at length and gives rise to interpretation. Pieces of meat pigs are hung against the house of the dead and an adze for their lives in the hereafter. A meal is given to the guardian spirits of participants in the ritual. At dusk, a wooden pole iron, symbolizing the afterlife, is set for each of the deceased. The ritual ends with the accompaniment of the soul of the dead to the world of the dead.
