ในช่วงเวลาที่ผ่านมา 12 ปี โหลใน Kerala (ในภาคใต้ของอินเดีย), มีการซื้อขายวัวกันมากเพื่อนำเนื้อมาเป็นอาหาร การซื้อขายนี้มีตลาดใหญ่อยู่ที่ชายแดนรัฐทมิฬนาดู และในภาคเหนือของอินเดีย ได้แก่ โอริสสา, มัธยประเทศ, ฯลฯ เป็นต้น ทุกวันนี้การซื้อขายน้อยลงและราคาก็ถูกลงมากเนื่องจากมีกฏเข้มงวดห้ามการรับ ประทานอาหารที่มีเนื้อวัว ในการขนส่งวัวไปขายจะมี 2 ทาง คือ การลำเลียงโดยรถบรรทุก และการเดินทางเท้าในภาพยนตร์จะได้พบกับรายละเอียด ฉากของชีวิตประจำวันอื่น ๆ ที่มีฉากของขบวนวัวที่ถูกส่งไปขาย

During the past dozen years in Kerala (in southern India), cattle have been primarily sold for beef. The animals are bought in the neighboring state of Tamil Nadu and also in northern India (Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, etc.) where the prices are lower because prohibitions against eating beef are stricter. The two ways in which the cattle are transported, by truck or driven on foot, are described in detail. Scenes of everyday life alternate with scenes of the cattle convoys.
